Description
Babylonstoren Olive Oil Blend is an exceptional extra virgin olive oil made from five distinct Italian olive varieties, nurtured by the sun on the estate’s slopes in Simonsberg between Paarl, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch. The bouquet is an alluring mix of verdant green and grassy aromas, complemented by fruit-forward notes. On tasting, this rich, golden-green oil caresses the palate with a velvety texture, revealing flavors of fresh herbs, nuts, and delicate floral hints, rounded off with a moderate intensity of bitter and peppery elements. This carefully balanced and harmonious oil is perfect for enhancing a wide array of dishes. It’s delightful drizzled over steamed fish, tossed with Caprese salad, or incorporated into sautéed veggies and pasta dishes. It blends magnificently with eggs; drizzle over poached eggs or mix a splash into your egg batter for a light and fragrant omelette.
